I Am Goals

And yet, my life is still a mess

I work from home. For myself. Doing what I absolutely love to do, and only when I really want to do it.

I rescue cats. I’m the neighborhood cat lady. When the neighborhood kids find an abandoned cat, they bring it to me. Neighbor cat has an oops litter? They bring them to me. I get them cleaned up, socialized, used to being cared for, and then I find them a home, regardless of how long it takes.

I spend hours a day in contemplation, journaling, meditating, and studying whatever it is that I feel like focusing on that day.

I’m a practicing witch, a sorceress, really, and I do rituals and spells daily. I read Tarot cards and runes, and love to play with pendulums.

Others come to me for spiritual guidance — that’s the source of my income.

Oh, and I don’t clean. My spouse does. I’m terrible at it, so we split the labor. I make the money, my husband does the cleaning.

Goals, right?

I’ve seen memes like that. About wanting to live a life that’s slowed down to your own pace, rather than the pace set by the world.
